Global Studies


Introduction

Global Studies takes an interdisciplinary approach to learning about world issues. The Global Studies curriculum focuses on comparative perspectives, histories, and approaches to global citizenship, inter-cultural knowledge, and universal respect.

Department Mission

The Institute for Global Engagement serves Washington State by providing internationally-focused educational experiences that prepare students to be global citizens and by supporting faculty and staff who are engaged inter-culturally.
