ECON 386 - The Economics of Electricity Markets Electricity markets have become more complex in recent years because of new energy production and usage technologies, regulatory changes, and increased environmental concerns. This course will look at demand and supply aspects of electricity markets, including the impact of government economic and environmental regulation. Emphasis will be on the U.S. electricity market.
