FAIR 377D - Whatcom Civil Rights Project Working in conjunction with the Whatcom Human Rights Task Force, the Whatcom Civil Rights Project (WCRP) provides pro bono legal assistance and advocacy to victims of discrimination. Gain the skills necessary to participate in WCRP by learning interviewing skills, how to write organized summaries of fact and law, and how to present cases orally. Major civil rights laws such as the Americans with Disability Act and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 will be covered. S/U grading. S/U grading.
Prerequisites & Notes: FAIR 201A or any writing intensive course.
