SOCP 374 - Urban and Rural Inequality

This course focuses on the sociological study of stratification, inequality, and poverty in Urban and Rural contexts. The course will first introduce students to the foundations of sociological stratification and inequality theories and research paradigms. Then, the course will turn to spatial considerations of these topics in both rural and urban contexts with an opportunity for application in real world settings.
