SOCP 354 - Disability and Inequality This course focuses on an examination of the relationship between disability and forms of social and societal inequality. The course considers the social construction of disability, historical and cross-cultural contexts of disability, the roles and responses of institutions and organizations, and how disability intersects with intersections of identity to produce disparate experiences, outcomes, and opportunities for individuals and communities.
