RDG 504 - Intermediate and Disciplinary Literacies

Review of key instructional practices for meeting the literacy needs of intermediate and adolescent learners, with consideration of the assessment and intervention of the complex challenges faced by diverse students at this level. The course addresses core instructional practices for equitable upper elementary and secondary classrooms, disciplinary literacy concepts, literacy integration, and collaboration with students to improve outcomes.
