RDG 503 - Emergent and Beginning Literacy Review of key instructional practices for meeting the literacy needs of diverse emergent and beginning literacy learners. Special consideration given to culturally responsive assessment and intervention for common challenges students at this level may encounter. The course addresses emergent and beginning literacy concepts, core instructional practices for equitable early elementary classrooms, and collaboration with students and families to improve outcomes.
