SMNR 190 - Curricular & Campus Engagement

Examination of some social and political systems that impact first-year first-generation students’ academic success. Topics include mentorship training, community building, service-learning accessibility, and cultural capital applications. As a cohort, students will learn ways to respond to institutional effectiveness as they build on their academic strengths.

Prerequisites & Notes: For first-generation, Washington College Grant eligible, new first-year students only.
