NURS 561 - Capstone II: Nurse Educator Project Capstone II: Nurse Educator Project is the second of the two capstone courses designed to apply leadership and education knowledge and skills in empowering graduate-level nurse educators to address complex healthcare challenges with evidence-based solutions. This course requires 90 hours of practice experience with a nurse educator preceptor. Students build upon their work from Capstone I by completing the capstone project, which includes conducting a comprehensive Fit and Feasibility Assessment from an EBP model, identifying key stakeholders and their influence and impact on project success, and recommending evidence-based implementation strategies. Students will present or disseminate the educational product, considering the readiness of the practice setting and demonstrating the ability to communicate with and engage stakeholders. Additionally, students develop proficiency in the NLN Core Competencies for Nurse Educators.
