NURS 565 - Capstone II: Nursing Leadership Project

Capstone II: Nursing Leadership Project is the second of the two capstone courses designed to apply leadership knowledge and skills in empowering graduate-level nurse leaders to address complex healthcare challenges with evidence-based solutions. This course requires 90 hours of practice experience with a nurse leader preceptor. Students build upon their work from Capstone I by completing the capstone project, which includes conducting a comprehensive Fit and Feasibility Assessment from an EBP model, identifying key stakeholders and their influence and impact on project success, and recommending evidence-based implementation strategies that encompass resource allocation, timelines, and risk avoidance/mitigation. Students will create a compelling and informative presentation on recommendations and present it to the leadership team.
