NURS 544 - Systems & Adaptive Thinking


In this course, students develop essential skills in systems thinking and adaptive complex strategies and explore tools and techniques to navigate complexity, uncertainty, and unexpected disruptions. Students articulate their role and responsibility in promoting organizational responsiveness to practice person-, family-, and community-centered care and leading initiatives promoting equity, diversity, and inclusiveness in care delivery and business operations. Students analyze the ethical implications of systems thinking and adaptive complex strategies and examine emerging trends in these areas, including applications in fields such as artificial intelligence in nursing practice and its associated challenges.
