JOUR 312 - Intro to Environmental Journalism This introduction to environmental journalism and media explores the conceptual and professional foundations of the field. It highlights best writing and reporting practices, advocacy techniques, and real-world cases. Specific focus areas may include environmental reporting, historical media milestones, environmental feature writing, visual media, advocacy and strategic communication, ethics, and reporting on economic and natural resources issues. Students will write and revise as they develop their own media projects. Also offered as ENVS 312.
