FAIR 367P - Indigenous Politics: Theory and Action


This course engages with critical Indigenous thinkers to provide a foundation in theories of political mobilization, cultural resurgence and decolonization. We will read works by Indigenous scholars from Oceania, Turtle Island and Abya Yala as well as engage on the ground with Salish Sea knowledge producers to understand the ways that Indigenous communities are working towards transforming colonial relationships embedded within settler state structures.

Prerequisites & Notes: FAIR 203A or instructor permission.
