HNRS 225 - Colloquium in Global South History This course introduces students to a variety of cultural moments and productions from the Indian subcontinent. While a political timeline is traditionally understood to offer a fundamental grounding of the history of a region, in this course students will learn to use culture as the lens through which to understand the evolution of history/ies. While the focus is on culture, students will also learn about other aspects of society in terms of economy and polity. Equivalent varies depending on instructor.
