HSP 467 - Ecopsychology

This course provides students with a holistic understanding of emotional, physical, and psychological wellbeing from an ecopsychological perspective. This course will introduce students to anthropological and ecopsychological viewpoints on cultivating health from micro, meso, and macro perspectives. In this course we will apply “deep ecology” thinking and critical lenses to explore the structure and practice of what is known in popular discourse as “mental health” and social and historical roots. This course is practice oriented: this means that you will have assignments outside of reading and discussion where you will engage in ecotherapeutic activities and methods.
