ETHN 205 - Introduction to Asian American Studies

This is an introduction to the history and experience of Asian Americans. This class will explore the factors for immigration, working and living conditions of Asian laborers in this country, and the social relations between the minority and majority, as well as those between the various Asian ethnic groups. Lectures, readings, creative projects and documentary films will help illuminate the trials, tribulations, and the resilience of Asian Americans.
