ENVS 413A - The Planet Staff for Photographers Planet staff photographers work with multiple writers as these writers develop articles for the quarterly university periodical and its extended online edition. Under the direction of the editor-in-chief and editorial management staff, staff photographers engage in a range of visual journalism activities, which may include proposing and shooting photographs, developing visual stories, and producing short films on environmental problems and solutions for a general audience. Class includes some lectures and readings. Interested students should contact the instructor or publication editor for an interview prior to the start of class. Successful candidates will be given a course override. Repeatable up to 12 credits including original course. Also offered as ENVS 413.
Prerequisites & Notes: Open to all College of the Environment majors, minors, Journalism pre-majors, majors, and minors; or instructor permission. Credits: 4 Grade Mode: Letter
