WGSS 348 - Masculinities in U.S. History Although men’s experiences and perspectives have long dominated academic inquiry, their work has been mistakenly assumed to be universal for humanity rather than analyzed as having gender-specific particularities. This course provides a feminist and queer perspective on men, masculinity, and manliness in the United States from the colonial era to today.
