ESCI 560 - Contaminant Fate and Transport We will investigate the physical, chemical, and biological processes that govern contaminant concentration, persistence, reactivity and partitioning among environmental media (air, water, soil and biota). General mathematical models will be developed based on these processes and used to predict contaminant behavior in the environment.
Prerequisites & Notes: ESCI 361 or ESCI 455; CHEM 251 or (CHEM 351 and CHEM 352); or similar courses with instructor permission Credits: 4 Grade Mode: Letter
