UEPP 563 - Native American Planning and Natural Resources Management Survey of political and jurisdictional considerations, treaty rights, and social and environmental conditions and conflicts facing tribal communities in their pursuit of self-governance. Consideration of the effects of historic federal Indian policy, court rulings and off-reservation treaty rights in regional planning. Evaluation of effective approaches toward encouraging intergovernmental cooperation in sustainable natural resources management.
