ESCI 575 - Renewable Electric Power Systems

Fundamentals of renewable and efficient electric power systems, including basics of electric generation, transmission and distribution as well as distributed generation and renewable sources on both sides of the meter, with an emphasis on solar photovoltaics and wind turbines. Topics include energy performance analysis, system sizing and financial metrics of renewable sources, as well as planning and operational impacts on electric utilities. Also offered as ENRG 575.
