SOC 436 - Sociology of Children’s Health

The goal of this capstone is to understand children’s health determinants and work towards health equity. In addition to studying the literature on children’s health outcomes and theories on health, students will approach the course through an intersectional framework — understanding that race/ethnicity, family socioeconomics, gender, etc. are interconnected and affect life chances.

Prerequisites & Notes: SOC 302; and SOC 304 or PSY 306; and SOC 306.
