I T 530 - Writing/Producing in a Digital Environment

With the foundation of knowledge and resources from the inquiry project in IT 525, students will produce a final project using a variety of digital texts. An in-depth exploration of the changing nature of what counts as text and how traditional writing is still necessary to plan for digital presentations will be studied. Further, students will examine how new literacies allow P-12 students to bring largely invisible literacies into the classroom and how teachers and P-12 students can use those literacies to demonstrate knowledge.
