ID 330 - Advanced Industrial Design CAD Skills This course will develop an industrial design student’s understanding and practice of the techniques of creating 3D parametric CAD models. The techniques covered will include sketching, dimensioning, and constraining of sketches, feature-based modeling, assembly modeling and generative drafting. Students will be required to use these techniques in projects to model machined and plastic molded components, to create CAD models from design drawings, and to generate properly dimensioned and annotated engineering drawings.
Prerequisites & Notes: ID 230 and ID 320. Credits: 4 Grade Mode: Letter
