PHIL 113 - Introduction to Philosophy: Reason and Religion Philosophy is the attempt to answer, through rational reflection, the most fundamental questions. In this introductory course, we will explore questions about religion and religious faith. Questions addressed may include, among others: How should we reason about whether there is a God? Who or what is a God, anyway? Could we have good evidence that a miracle happened? Might there be life after death? Does faith conflict with reason? Can it be rational to act on faith? This course will equip you to think through such issues for yourself.
