GEOL 430 - Image Interpretation Explores fundamental concepts of identifying and interpreting geologic features using remote data, including aerial imagery, topographic data (maps, Lidar, DEMs), multispectral satellite images, and geophysical data. Emphasizes critical evaluation and development of multiple working hypotheses in creating geologic maps and interpretations from image data.
