ESCI 502 - Applied Statistics in Environmental Science

Course includes an introduction to best practices for experimental design and the application of linear models to the resulting datasets. Relevant advanced techniques like mixed-effects models, multivariate methods, time-series analysis, and spatial analysis are briefly introduced. Course draws heavily from current literature discussing appropriate use of statistics in experimental and observational studies.
