ANTH 554 - Participatory Action Research Methods Participatory Action Research is a methodology of researching, analyzing, and carrying out actions that directly benefit members (stakeholders) of a community. As a form of applied anthropology, PAR is a method that emphasizes working in collaboration with others to develop research questions, conduct research, analyze findings, present results, and create actions. In this course, students will work with identified community organizations and groups who are interested in the PAR methodology.
