16 credits

Introduction

The goal of the Certificate in Energy Economics is to give students knowledge, analytic skills and an understanding of the basic business and economic concepts associated with the formation and analysis of energy-related policies, programs and incentives.

Why Consider an Energy Economics Certificate?

Demand is increasing for a trained energy workforce in Washington in an emerging clean energy economy, including growing energy efficiency, grid modernization and energy storage industries in the state, and success in this field requires an understanding of the economics and business context of energy-related decision making.
