Seminar Courses and Offered in the First-Year Academic Program
New Student Experience Seminars (NSES) are offered in the fall, winter & spring quarters, as stand-alone courses. NSESs are smaller courses, which limit enrollment to 25 students. NSESs are a combination of special topics courses and community-engaged learning experiences that change quarterly.
The Seminar 190-191-192 seminar series is a year-long sequence of courses designed to support the academic success and offer a community engagement experience to first-year students coming to Western.
