SOC 390 - GLOBAL FAMILIES An analysis of families in their institutional context through the comparative study of family life in one or more societies outside the United States. This analysis could be of a single society or of multiple societies with the goal of enhancing our understanding of the diversity of family life and the ways in which family life is shaped by and helps other institutions.
