CSCI 483 - COMPUTER ANIMATION Introduction to traditional animation. 3D modeling and viewing. Motion specification and interpolation. Kinematics of motion. Key framing. Coordinate systems and transformations, Euler angles and quaternions, cubic and B-splines. Articulated figures (forward kinematics), human and animal modeling. Physically based modeling (rigid, and deformable). Rendering. Production-level animation software.
