CCE 510 - SECOND LANGUAGE ACQUISITION THEORY FOR THE ADULT LEARNER OF ENGLISH Content includes insights of modern linguistic and psychological theory into the process of second language learning, with special reference to the acquisition of English by adult speakers of other languages. Interaction with English language learners will guide a research component which identifies particular difficulties faced by the adult non-native speaker and how these challenges can be addressed.
Prerequisites & Notes: TESL 401 recommended.
