BIOL 476 - THE STRUCTURAL BASIS OF MEMBRANE TRANSPORT PROTEINS This course will examine the general structural basis of membrane transport proteins; studying their mechanistic information, examining the actual body plans and structure of these proteins and evaluating the structure-function relationship that permits them to perform their task. The overall goal of this course is to acquire a unifying view of membrane transport mechanisms. Offered in alternate years.
Prerequisites & Notes: BIOL 323; BIOL 471 or CHEM 471 recommended.
