SPED 553 - Collaboration and the IEP This course focuses on creating meaningful and legally compliant individual education plans (IEPs) for P-12 students with disabilities in collaboration with families. Includes an emphasis on effective communication, problem solving, and cultural competence skills necessary for sustaining collaborative relationships with other professionals, paraeducators, family members and community agencies. Part of a residency/year-long internship program.
Prerequisites & Notes: Admission to program and Graduate School; SPED 557. Credits: 4 Grade Mode: Letter
