SWP 599 - Advanced Generalist Practicum III

Advanced Generalist Practicum III provides 216 hours of supervised social work practice and serves as the capstone experience of the MSW program. Students demonstrate mastery of advanced practice behaviors across all nine CSWE competencies, synthesize theoretical and practical knowledge, and assume increased autonomy in assessment, intervention, evaluation, and ethical decision-making within complex practice settings. As a culminating requirement, students complete a final oral examination evidencing competency, professional judgment, and readiness for independent, justice-oriented social work practice. S/U grading.
