SWP 595 - Advanced Generalist Community and Global Theory and Practice This course prepares students for community and global social work practice by integrating theory, macro-practice, and culturally responsive approaches. Students examine how global socio-economic, political, and environmental forces shape local communities and develop interventions that honor multiple knowledge systems, including Indigenous frameworks. Emphasis is placed on human rights, social justice, and the ethical responsibilities of social workers in diverse international contexts.
