SWP 580 - Political Social Work This advanced MSW course explores the power of social work as a political profession. Students examine the theories, skills, and ethics of political social work through applied policy practice, grassroots organizing, and legislative advocacy. Emphasizing both micro-to-macro connections and systems change, the course prepares practitioners to engage effectively in legislative, electoral, and community arenas to advance social, racial, and economic justice.
