SWP 550 - Social Work Practice in Schools This course prepares MSW students for advanced practice in school settings, integrating trauma-responsive, culturally grounded, and evidence-based interventions within a Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) framework. Students will learn to assess and intervene with children, adolescents, and families in schools; navigate legal and policy mandates; collaborate across systems; and promote equity and academic achievement for marginalized student populations.
Prerequisites & Notes: SWP 545; Admission into the Master of Social Work Program. Credits: 3 Grade Mode: Letter
