SWP 520 - Science of Social Work I: Foundations of Social Work Research This course introduces the foundations of research in social work, emphasizing the scientific method, problem formulation, research design, and both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Students will develop skills to critically evaluate and apply research, guided by social work ethics and values, to improve practice and advance equity at the micro, mezzo, and macro levels.
