SWP 510 - Human Behavior in the Social Environment This course provides foundational knowledge of a multi-dimensional person-in-environment approach to understanding human behavior across the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on integrating major conceptual and theoretical frameworks with a bio-psycho-social perspective while critically engaging diversity, anti-racism, anti-oppression, and systemic influences. Historical and sociopolitical contexts are examined to prepare students for generalist social work practice across diverse settings.
