LDST 202 - Communication & Conflict Management for Leaders

Communication skills and behavior are crucial to effective leadership, particularly when it comes to conflict management. Many individuals are uncomfortable with conflict at best, and unsure of how to proceed when conflict arises, at worst. Whether someone identifies as a ‘leader’ or not, most individuals could use support in knowing what to do when conflict arises. This course will provide students an overview of communication and conflict as it relates to leadership in a context that allows practice and application.
