NURS 413 - Health Policy, Advocacy & Leadership Practice Experience This 50-hour, faculty-supervised practice experience provides students with opportunities to apply systems-thinking, leadership, and health policy concepts within professional and organizational contexts in their local settings. The experience enables students to integrate new knowledge and expertise in leadership and healthcare policy while engaging with policymakers, professional associations, community coalitions, or healthcare organizations. It supports the development of advanced understanding and application of leadership and policy principles to promote quality, safety, and equity in healthcare and public health environments.
Prerequisites & Notes: Co-requisite: NURS 412; Admission to the RN-to-BSN program, active RN license in Washington State. Credits: 2 Grade Mode: S/U
