ISE 310 - Introduction to Industrial Engineering and Computing Applications This course provides an introduction to the fundamental principles and methods of industrial and systems engineering and their application to improving systems and processes. Topics include productivity analysis, operations research, quality management, facility layout, and supply chain systems. The course also introduces students to basic programming, with applications in data analysis, optimization, and simulation for industrial and systems engineering problems. Emphasis is placed on developing problem-solving skills, computational literacy, and the ability to apply engineering tools in both manufacturing and service contexts.
