A/HI 445 - Topics in Art, Diaspora, and Identity This course will focus on the artistic domain of the diaspora, defined as a people dispersed from their homeland, and/or the new territory they and their descendants occupy. Historical circumstances of exile, migration, and movement will act as context for the art and culture under study. The significance of national, racial, ethnic, religious, and other identities upon these will be considered. Repeatable with different topics to a maximum of 15 credits, including original course.
