ART 340 - Ceramics I

Introduction to the technical processes of working with and manipulating clay through hand-building techniques of pinch, coil and slab construction. Three-dimensional conception and fabrication are coupled with two-dimensional surface design and techniques. Both sculptural and utilitarian applications are explored. Repeatable to a maximum of 15 credits, including original course.
