ART 353 - Printmaking: Etching Course covers history, methods, criticism, and practice of copper plate etching. Techniques include: hard-ground and soft-ground etching, aquatint, color applications, and multi-plate registration. Historical and contemporary examples explored. Repeatable to a maximum of 15 credits including original course.
