GEOL 554 - Magnetic Fabrics and Geological Processes

Theory and laboratory measurement of magnetic anisotropy in rocks, sediments, and minerals. Emphasis on the use of magnetic anisotropy techniques to understand various geological processes including deformation, sediment transport, and magma flow and emplacement.
