Introduction
This 24 credit certificate* will expose students to the core content areas designated by the Society for Human Resource Management as essential for Human Resource Management (HRM) specialists. This certificate is available to WWU students as well as community members.
*Certificate is defined as “certificate of completion,” indicating all classes in the 24 credit program have been satisfactorily completed. Students completing this program take additional steps to become certified as a HRM specialist.
Admission and Declaration Process
WWU matriculated students: Submit an on-line application form via the College of Business and Economics website, http://www.cbe.wwu.edu/College/Applications.asp. Applications will be reviewed against admission criteria by College staff with every effort being made to inform the student of his/her status in a timely manner.

Grade Requirements
A grade of C- or better is required for a student’s major or minor courses, and supporting courses for majors and minors.
