Introduction

In recent years, the ability to analyze and make sense of data has become critical in virtually every field of study. Western’s minor degree in statistics offers students the opportunity to create a cohesive program of study in theoretical or applied statistics, which will give them the tools they require to apply sound scientific reasoning in their major field.
